William W. (Bill) Walker, III founded LAI in 1986 following a 12-year civilian management career in which he controlled technical, marketing, and administrative activities for nearly 300 employees who generated more than $8 million in revenue per year. His military career included both combat leadership and administrative assignments. As president of LAI, Mr. Walker leads a staff of nearly 300 that is performing 17 contracts for 12 government agencies. His leadership has resulted in the company's steady, carefully controlled growth and sound financial position. Mr. Walker holds a BA degree in zoology from Indiana University, a BA in sociology from Chaminade College, and an MBA from Southern Illinois University. He is a Zenger-Miller certified trainer and a member of the National Contract Management Association.
