Since its founding, the company's charter has been "to provide high quality services to our clients" in both the government and private sector. ESC manages the District of Columbia National Guard Distance Learning Center, where our videoconferencing and collaborative technology services rapidly enhance the effectiveness and lower the cost of training, education, and communication to clients. ESC provides Distance Learning Network planning, network operations, systems engineering and implementation, distributed tele-training operations, and courseware development support to the National Guard Bureau's Distributive Learning Network. ESC provides a full range of network-based information services, which provides the Navy and Marine Corps secured, universal access to integrated voice, video, and data communications. ESC provides systems engineering, technical, and programmatic support to the Defense Information Systems Agency - National Communications System, which ensures adequate national security and emergency preparedness telecommunications support for the Federal Government. ESC also used its policy analysis and design and business process engineering capability to promote improved investigation and coordination of efforts to address the Department of Defense's Gulf War Illnesses Task Force.
