About Bronze Warrior Publishing Group, Inc.
Our History, Our Heritage, Our Heroes: The Bronze Warrior News Magazine Addresses American Diversity from a Military Perspective.
The Bronze Warrior News-Magazine, the nation's first and only periodical written expressly for the many culturally diverse groups and women within our nation's Department of Defense recently gained official authorization from AFEES and NEX to sale it's publication within all Base Exchanges worldwide. In the fall of 2003, Bronze Warrior News-Magazines will be available in a limited number of Exchange locations across the country, as a start.
The mission of the twice-monthly tabloid is to serve the communication needs of today's diverse military communities. The response to that mission over the past two years has been extremely positive. And for good reason! The percentage of minorities affiliated with our military, active-duty, retirees, reservists, DOD civilian, etc., exceeds 30% of the armed forces universe-a market of more than 4-million. (450,000 active-duty.) And while African-Americans makeup the majority of the military population, about 20-percent, the Hispanic population is also growing.
Bronze Warrior News Magazine, highlights how diversity in DoD works for the good of minorities and the nation. It focuses on recognition of stellar minority military performers; career opportunity and success; equal opportunity initiatives; minority military history; good health; and overall well being and happiness. Due to the positive nature of our mission, the publication has gained strong support within minority military communities, among government officials, and in minority communities at-large. It has been especially well received by military recruiters, JROTC and ROTC instructors, school counselors, parents and mentors. Several educators already request BW copies for their students and many recruiters recruiter see the BW as a valuable tool in recruiting higher quality minority prospects.
The price of the publication is only $1.95 on the newsstand and only $24.95 per year via annual subscription.
